That and we just don’t seem to hand out recs here at the rate other sites do.

That is amazing.
I need to finally break down and downl-…. er, I mean, BUY Photoshop for my computer so I can participate in these things. We have it at the office but it would generally be frowned upon to Photoshop Velrnader’s face onto a Taco Bell dog’s body on the company dime.

Get The GIMP
It’s free, does everything you’d want Photoshop to do, and will run on practically any computer you can throw it at. The interface is a little imposing at first, but don’t worry, it really is nice.
