New year, new podcast, new questions
It's been almost a month since we cranked out the last episode of the Bless You Boys Podcast. The holidays have come and gone, but we're dying to talk a little baseball...so we're going to hit the record button.
I'd like to try an all listener question show, as I know the BYB readership is just bursting at the seams with things to say. Plus, it makes my job easier when I don't have to come up with the questions!
So please give your friendly BYB editor a hand. Start typing up those questions!
Remember, there are several ways to submit a question to the BYB Podcast.
The easiest way to get involved is to leave your question in the comments of this post.
You can also email your question to: BYBPodcast at Gmail.com. Please mention your BYB handle in your message so the community knows who to blame!
Aren't registered to comment at BYB? Even though you should be, you can still reach us on Twitter, where the all the cool kids are making fun of, well, something or someone. Send us your question as an @ reply to our Twitter account, @BlessYouBoys.
Aren't on Twitter? Like everyone else in the universe, we're on Facebook too!
As always, your help and downloads are much appreciated!

Time for the return of the lightning round.

It'll be around 7:30-8 EST

Starting rotation
What do you think the tigers will do? Will they get a #5 a la Penny type guy, or go out and get someone who would be good enough to move others down. I guess a third option would be Jacob Turner. A option I don’t want to see. Second, which position do you think will remain a platoon, second or third, or even both? And finally, If the Tigers get Cepedes what would they do with the surpluss of outfielders, and who would be the odd man out?
Country Strong
Just a few Q's.
That interview with Phil Coke’s Brain? Was that a work of fiction or for real?
Can you get Phil Coke’s Brain on the Podcast? Who is this person?
it's kind of a cross-sport question
But have you guys heard that while the NHL plans on doing the next winter classic at the Big House in Ann Arbor, they are also planning on putting a rink in at Comerica during the winter and possibly hosting the Great Lakes Invitational outside during it?

Any thoughts on this?

Also, you guys have a list of invitees to spring training camp
Anyone surprise you, either from being included or being left out?

opening day lineup
when it features Jackson, Santiago, and Delmon at the top of the order how many aneurysms will Tigerdog have?
serious question: who will leadoff? Tigers hinted at the end of the season that Jackson would be moved out, yet as of this moment there really is no internal replacement.

On Ex-Tigers
Perhaps you have but I haven’t heard squat about the future of some of the presumed ex-Tigers like Maggs, Guillen, and Zumaya.
Who do you think might be possible suitors for them or are their careers over?

Pick a Pitcher
Out of the Free agents, Garza and Turner. Who do you guys all want most?

This will be a breakout year for Porcello. Or not.
Who here thinks Porcello could still develop into a top tier pitcher? I know some on BYB have spoken of trading him this off season, but I am really happy we are hanging on to him. He’s still a young sprout and has potential to develop into a Jim Price “art of pitching” pitcher. Not an ace, but I think he could be a legitimate stud number two type. Am I overly optimistic to think this could be a fifteen win breakout year for him? Could a little Fister magic rub off on Kid Rick? Remember oh-nine? The good stuff from oh-nine that is… Dish me the hard truth, gang. Just be gentle.

Oh wait...
He won 14 games last year. So, yeah. Maybe wins is not the best metric. I’m going to go on a limb and say he’ll have an ERA of… hmmm… let’s say… 3.50 next year. Coz ERA is king of all stats and one of my proudest moments was figuring out how to calculate it when I was eleven. So don’t take that pride away from me, Billy!
