How About Some Cespedes Fun?
With what I hope will be the Tiger's left fielder of the future soon to become a resident of the DR and a MLB free agent, I thought it would be fun to see who can make the closest prediction on how the Cespedes saga ends. I personally hope he ends up in a Tiger's uniform, but am realistic enough to know that isn't guaranteed to happen. So realistically, what will happen.
In the comments below, predict who will sign him, for how long and the total value of the contract. Closest prediction wins bragging rights and my undying admiration.
By the way, to start it off, I'm predicting he signs with Miami for 6 years at $63m. What does the BYB community think?

I want to change my vote.
I am going to say Oakland 4 years 36 million. BTW, what do I get if I win?

After his name is discovered to really be Joe Biden
And he’s really 58 years old?
Kenny Williams will sign him for the White Sox. 3 years/$38MM.
Justin can now let the fungus grow back on his shower shoes.
I don't think he'll get over $45m, folks

Darvish also had a lot of success in a higher-level league
but I really have no clue what this will end up at.

I agree that Darvish looks like the more ML-ready player*
But I think the demand is too high for Cespedes to get less than $50 million.

Yup
He’s a bigger risk, his winter ball performance is hurting him and Cuban players just don’t land gigantic contracts.

New York Knights
5 years/100,000. Roy Hobbs needs some protection in that lineup!

Indians
3 years / 35 million
Because they will believe whatever age the Dominicans decide to give him.

Except Cespedes is Cuban
Just because he’s applying for Dominican citizenship doesn’t change where his health records come from.
He defected from Cuba, non?
So Cuba has no interest in providing or verifying any records for him.

I'm gonna guess... Oakland, 4 years/36million
