Hey, Tigers fans. I'm an A's fan who posts over at Athletics Nation and I want to just thank you guys for a great series.

This series offered pretty much everything baseball fans could hope for. Both teams had a thrilling win to celebrate and a gut-wrenching loss that will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. It was good action between two very good teams.

On top of that, I'd like to thank all the Tigers fans for being good sports and for making this series a good experience for all parties involved. I'm certainly not leaving this series with a bad taste in my mouth. Sure, Alburquerque had his little thing, but it wasn't really that big of a deal. It wasn't as if we had players fighting or anything.

Thanks a lot for a great series that will be remembered for years to come. As much as the end of a season hurts, I'm glad to say we went out against a team with a very good fanbase and classy players. I shudder to think what would have happened if the White Sox had won the AL Central instead.

Thank you one last time, and beat those Yankees!
