Detroit's opponent may not be known, but at least we've got a game time for the beginning of the ALDS this weekend.

We don't know who, but at least we know when.

The Detroit Tigers will host Game 1 of an American League Division Series at 6:07 p.m. ET Saturday. The game will be televised on TBS.

Right now, any number of scenarios could unfold. It appears likely the Tigers will host the winner of the AL West -- Oakland leads that right now -- but there's a lot of baseball left to be played today.

Comerica Park plays host to the first two games of the divisional series this year because of a one-year change in MLB rules. The worse seed will host the better seed for two games, then the series will switch cities and wrap up there. The intention behind that was to save a travel day after shoehorning the Wild Card playoff game in between the regular season and the divisional series.

So, you can start making your plans now. You might want to be sure to find your radios, as well, because wouldn't we all prefer to listen to Dan and Jim while watching the game?
