As most people know, the Texas Rangers have one of the most talented prospetcs in baseball in Double A right now. This is shortstop, Jurickson Profar. He is projected to be a potential 5 tool threat and replace Elvis Andrus by mid 2013. In this case, Andrus can't be moved to 2nd base because Texas recently signed Ian Kinsler to a large contract. This is where the Tigers come in. Who wouldn't Elvis Andrus patrolling the Tigers infield from next year. He is only 23, a plus defender at short, and would bring some much needed speed to the Tigers lineup. However some people have critcized his batting and this might be valid with his career WRC of 90. This would rate him as slghtly below average, but this year he ahs a WRC of 132 and is batting .329. This is aided by his high BABIP of .370 but I believe he has turned a corner. Remember he is only 23! So what do you think it would take to get Elvis Andrus?
