These are the predicted standings for the rest of 2012. Orioles will regress with their awful pitching staff, White Sox will be back in 4th place, and the Rangers will cruise.
AL East
Tampa Bay* 94-68, pitching staff is too good, however, Hellickson is the luckiest pitcher I have ever seen.
New York* 90-72, different look without Rivera closing but Robertson is damn good
Toronto* 88-74, good run differentials the last few years, they will be in contention for a playoff spot all year
Boston 85-77, way too many injuries, questionable starting staff and bullpen, questionable manager
Baltimore 78-84, Their time will come, soon.........
AL Central
Detroit* 92-70, too good of a team to not win this division, all idiots comparing this team to 2008 are so wrong. 2012 version of Tigers is younger, healthier, and has a much better pitching staff.
Chicago 80-82, look up mediocre in the dictionary and you will find the 2012 Chicago White Sox
Cleveland 78-84, look up mediocre in the dictionary and you will also find the 2012 Cleveland Indians
Kansas City 76-86, too many issues with the pitching staff, time will come
Minnesota 65-97, look up horrible team in the dictionary and you will find this team.
AL West
Texas* 95-67, best team in the league hands down.
Los Angeles 85-77, one of the most overrated teams in the league. Will win 85 with the strength of their Top 3 in the rotation.
Oakland 75-87, Go Brandon Inge!
Seattle 65-97, Watch out for them if they get a couple of big bats. Their projected staff with Walker, Paxton, Hultzen, Hernandez, and Vargas in 2014 will be scary.
Please comment on what you think about these standings. Thanks
