the tigers haven't visited the post season 2 years in a row since 1934-1935. that is pretty incredible. only the white sox drought of 2 consecutive post season trips is longer. the brewers haven't done in their franchise history dating back to 1969 when they came in as the seattle pilots. the marlins have never done it either but the have won 2 world series in the past 20 or so years.
