Head on over to the Detroit News' website and check out today's column I wrote about how 2012 compares to 2008. There are obviously quite a few parallels. But there are a couple of key differences as well. Most of them reside in the rotation.
When you're over there, check out Tony Paul's column: The MLB should recognize the value of the Cubs-Tigers series. I agree completely. The 2006 series sweep in Chicago remains a great memory. It would be really great to see the teams play more often -- especially at Wrigley.
