1) They have one of the easiest schedules of the contenders in September. (Twins and Royals mostly) 7-5 vs the Twins and 7-4 vs KC.
2) They keep every game very close with very few blowouts.
3) By FIP, xFIP, K/9 etc. They have a Top 3 rotation in the AL. Pitching, Pitching, Pitching.
4) They have one of the best bullpens in the league. (Benoit, Valverde, Dotel, Villareal). I trust a close lead with these guys.
5) They have a real 2nd baseman who can hit and field.
6) They still have 7 games against the White Sox. (7-4 vs them this year)
7) They have 3 of the Top 10 hitters in the AL.
8) A Hot Ryan Raburn is itching to come back and contribute.
9) We are still only 3 games back!
