I hope this catches on... IF the Tigers are SERIOUS about upgrading R field why don't they go balls out and look at trading for Ryan Braun to just get it done??? Perfect fit. Yes I know he just signed an extension but the Brew Crew isn't going anywhere for a while, conservatively 2-3 years at best, and could save a few bucks over these years to buy what they need then by letting him go and offering back Milwaukee cheap, reasonably controllable length talent. Who specifically with Porcello would yet to be determined but it WOULDN'T take an ENTIRE farm system dump when you add Porcello's true value to the trade. He has tremendous trade value despite the skeptics. He would've had a MUCH better record if the Old English D would've provided 2 or more runs in numerous games he started. Also, yes it would likely also cost someone like an Avisial Garcia in addition but it would be well worth it. Garcia has GREAT potential but the question is can/will he flourish on a team constantly being compared to Cabrera. Braun is a proven player and is actually cheap over the next 8 years avg:18.2 mil/yr considering what he's proven. Imagine opposing teams having to work through a line up of Jackson, Hunter, Cabrera, Fielder, Martinez, Braun, Peralta, Avila and Infante lineup even if they all hit around their average career numbers for the next SEVERAL years for each contract. This is the only way I think the Tigers should let Porcello go with other possible talent for any other team to roll the dice on. Also, there's no SS out there and available that's worth immediately disposing of Peralta, sorry but that's a fact! ...What about Upton? It seems that Upton wants to be on a team that's already stacked, we don't need that kind of "crutch" mentality.

Is this THE only trade situation the Tigers should consider regarding allowing the departure of one 24yr old 45 MLB game winner Rick Porcello?... Yes or No?
