GIF of the day: Miguel Cabrera starts a DP

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Kurt knows how to make GIFs too now

This isn't remarkable. Miguel Cabrera did play a part in 31 double plays last season at third base, and 11 this year at the position. In fact, the ball was hit directly at him and all he had to do was step on the bag and throw to first.

But with Rob running off the foreign lands, someone had to step up and make a GIF of the day, just to show it can be done. Why not me? Exactly. Why not me.

So here it is. Miguel Cabrera scooping a ball at third to start a double play behind Rick Porcello. Unfortunately the Tigers went on to lose in 11 innings.
