Toledo's pitching was impressive in a 1-0 victory; Erie continues their winning ways behind big days from Fields and Collins; Lakeland can't muster more than 1 run in a loss; and West Michigan drops the series finale to Quad Cities.

AAA Toledo Mud Hens (9-23)

W, 1-0 vs. Rochester. Starter Derek Hankins was impressive for 7 innings; and then Phil Coke (on rehab) and Bruce Rondon shut the door to seal it for Toledo. The Mud Hens only managed 6 hits, with 4 of them coming from Argenis Diaz.

W, 7-4 vs. Akron. Victor Larez improved to 5-0 on the season, and Fields, Collins, and Gaynor all had good days at the plate to move Erie 7 games above .500.
