As for the Tigers' own shortstop issues and their reaction to Drew no longer being on the market, media reports claim the organization wasn't particularly interested in him.
Never got the impression #Tigers were real excited by idea of signing Stephen Drew, even after the draft. So I doubt they're crushed by this
