The SeaWolves offense came to life after falling into an early 2-0 hole, scoring five runs across three innings to earn their 12th win of the season. Six of Erie's eight hits went for extra bases, and every hitter in their lineup reached base. Starter Cory Riordan rebounded from his early miscues to throw seven strong innings, striking out four with zero walks. Paul Voelker earned his fourth save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning.

Joey Pankake's two-run double broke a 2-2 tie in the seventh inning, and the Lakeland bullpen shut the door in the final three innings for their 14th win of the year. Pankake had a pair of doubles on the night, and Lakeland's offense combined for 11 hits. Jared Reaves led the way with a three-hit night, while Kade Scivicque and Wade Hinkle also had multi-hit games. Angel Nesbitt threw a scoreless inning as part of a rehab assignment, and Tyler Alexander earned the win after striking out seven in five innings.

Rashad Brown had three hits and scored twice to lead the Whitecaps to a win over Wisconsin at Fifth Third Ballpark. Brown also stole a base, his fifth of the season. Fellow outfielders Derek Hill and Jose Azocar also chipped in, with Hill scoring a run and Azocar driving in two. Jordan Smith earned the win after allowing three runs in five innings, and Gerson Moreno picked up his third save of the season.
