Connecticut split their doubleheader with State College. Erie was the only other affiliate during yesterday's action to win. Toledo's ballgame was postponed due to rain. Austin Schotts homered during the first game of Connecticut's doubleheader, while first-round selection Jonathon Crawford started game number two.

Double-A: Erie SeaWolves (51-48)

W, 5-1 vs. Richmond. Erie scored four runs in the seventh inning to break the tie and take the lead for good. Drew VerHagen started for Erie and tossed five shutout innings. Tyler Collins hit a three-run home run as part of the SeaWolves’ big seventh inning.
