Toledo, Erie and the GCL Tigers all won during yesterday's action. Lakeland was swept in their doubleheader, and West Michigan's contest was suspended during the first inning. Eugenio Suarez recorded three hits in Erie's win, while Jamie Johnson drove in four runs during the same ballgame. Francisco Martinez went a combined 3-6 in Lakeland's doubleheader.

Triple-A: Toledo Mud Hens (39-54)

W, 4-3 vs. Louisville. Kevin Russo sent the game into extra innings with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly. Danny Worth then hit a walk-off single that plated Ben Guez in the tenth inning. Jose Alvarez logged eight innings in the start for Toledo, allowing three runs on seven hits. Jess Todd earned the win by pitching two scoreless innings. Avisail Garcia, Jordan Lennerton, and Bryan Holaday all notched two hits in the win.

Southpaw Ryan Robowski then secured the win for Erie in the bottom half of the frame. Johnson drove in four runs on the night, while Eugenio Suarez, Hernan Perez and Marcus Lemon also notched an RBI apiece.

However, the Tigers would lose in the bottom half of the inning in walk-off fashion. Bubba Jones plated the game’s decisive run for Staten Island with a single to right field.
