Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The New York Yankees have recalled catcher Chad Moeller from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Moeller spent much of the season with the Yankees because of Jorge Posada's injury problems, then was sent back to the minors after the club acquired veteran Ivan Rodriguez before the July trade deadline. In 32 games with New York, Moeller hit .227 with one homer and eight runs batted in. The Yankees also recalled left-handed pitcher Phil Coke from Scranton.
