Rockies activate Spilborghs

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies activated outfielder Ryan Spilborghs from the 15-day disabled list Monday. Spilborghs was on the shelf since July 9 with a left oblique strain. Before the injury, Spilborghs was batting.314 with six home runs and 33 runs batted in. In other roster moves, the Rockies recalled pitcher Steve Register and catcher Edwin Bellorin from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
