The Tigers assigned nine more players to the minor leagues this morning.  No surprises on this list, though some familiar names can be found.

   C    Max St. Pierre
   C    Nick Treszniak
   2B   Scott Sizemore
   SS   Michael Hollimon
   OF   Brent Clevlen
   RHP  Virgil Vazquez
   RHP  Preston Larrison
   RHP  Chris Lambert
   RHP  Freddy Dolsi

Clevlen and Vazquez are definitely going to Toledo.  As Mack Avenue Tigers speculates, others will probably join them with the Mud Hens, and those that don't are likely headed to Erie.

And though we already knew that the competition for the last bullpen spot was between Yorman Bazardo and Aquilino Lopez, this round of cuts pretty much confirms that (though Francis Beltran is still in major league camp).

UPDATE:  Danny Knobler posted the 37 players that remain in Detroit's major league camp, if you're wondering who's left to be re-assigned.  Seven or eight will have to go by Opening Day.
