The Tigers (49-50) face off against Seattle (43-55) once again tonight at Safeco Field. Jason Johnson (6-8) will pitch tonight for Detroit against Joel Pineiro (3-6). The Tigers lost last night and failed once again to jump past the .500 marks, as Richie Sexson and Adrian Beltre smacked back to back homeruns for the M's off of Nate Robertson.
Coming into tonight, Magglio Ordonez is carrying a 17 game hit streak. He walked 3 times in last night's game, but still managed to reach on a hit. Let's hope he can keep it up tonight.
The game is once again not on FSN Detroit, but can still be heard on WXYT 1270.
Update [2005-7-26 22:36:9 by Mark]:Brandon Inge is not in the lineup tonight, as newly acquired John McDonald is holding down the hotcorner. This ends a streak of 141 consecutive games played for Inge.
