Mike Maroth (8-10) will get the start for the Tigers, facing off against another lefty in the veteran Jamie Moyer (8-3). Moyer is 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA for July coming into this game. Maroth is coming off a win versus division rival Minnesota.
The game can be seen on FSN Detroit and heard on WXYT 1270. This will be the first televised game of this series.
