It was supposed to be Carl Pavano today, but he's gimpy and so the Yankees will send rookie Chien-Ming Wang (4-3, 4.26) up against Nate Robertson (3-6, 3.58). Wang has been pretty consistently mediocre all season -- never awful and never dominant -- while Robertson has pitched beautifully in his last two starts. Rondell White will rest his sore shoulder today, and the Yankees will rest Jorge Posada.
