Ok, time for day 3 of the SBN Awards. In day one, we handed out our Rookie of the Year awards to Justin Verlander and Hanley Ramirez. On day 2 we gave out the Manager of the Year awards to Jim Leyland and Joe Girardi. Today we will give out the Cy Young award for both leagues.
In the AL we had a runaway as the Twins Johan Santana took the vote and will receive the SBN AL Cy Young award. Congratulations to Johan.
The NL vote was a little closer, even though the recipient received a very good amount of the 1st place votes on the ballots. Congratulations to Arizona's Brandon Webb on taking the NL Cy Young.
