Jason Beck has a little bit up on the possibility of Devil Rays OF Rocco Baldelli being an interest of the Tigers at the annual winter meetings (along with 5 other teams):
Don't count out the Tigers from making a bigger move just yet. One report making the rounds tonight has the Tigers as one of six teams involved in talks for Devil Rays center fielder and leadoff man Rocco Baldelli, but other Major League sources suggest the Tigers aren't on the list.

I'm a little surprised by this. Baldelli is a pretty good player (potential-wise, at least) and would be a great asset to any outfield for many years to come. BUT, the Tigers just traded for Gary Sheffield, already have plenty of outfielders (especially right handed hitting ones) and are in need of a lefty out of the pen. I'd be very shocked to see this kind of move happen.
