Craig Dingman underwent successful arterial bypass surgery in his right shoulder yesterday. The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Thompson in St. Louis, MO. There is currently no timetable for his return.
Also, Jim Leyland said there may be more roster moves made as early as Saturday. He referred to the upcoming moves as "nothing major"
