The Tigers placed Dmitri Young on the DL today, retroactive to May 22. Dmitri's strained right quad had been bothering him.
To take his spot, the team called up Jack Hannahan from Toledo. He had been hitting .282 with 18 runs scored, five doubles, four home runs and 23 RBI in 38 games at Toledo.
