Andrew Miller, who was drafted by the Tigers with their first pick in this week's draft, pitched last night in NCAA baseball action against the Alabama Crimson Tide on ESPN. I'm sure many Tigers fans were watching as Andrew really was impressive. Through 7 innings Miller only gave up 5 hits and 1 walk, striking out 11 in the process.
North Carolina won the game 11-5 over the Crimson Tide, sending Miller's record for the season to 11-2. Overall he looked amazing out there, more than likely prompting many Tigers fans watching to get pretty excited about this kid's future with the Detroit organization.
