Ledezma Gets Call

Following tonight's loss vs the D-Rays the Tigers made a quick transaction, bringing up pitcher Wil Ledezma and sending Bobby Seay down to Toledo.

Here is a snippet from Jason Beck regarding the move:

After the game, the Tigers called up Wilfredo Ledezma from Triple-A Toledo and designated Bobby Seay for assignment. Ledezma will be used out of the bullpen, most likely as a combination situational lefty and long reliever depending on what they need.

Ledezma has been a pretty good pitcher this season for the Mud Hens. He has started 12 games, going 4-3, striking out 66 with 23 BB, and has a 2.52 ERA. Seay has appeared in 14 games for the Tigers and has a 6.46 ERA.
