7/24 Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Indians

The Tigers' offense showed up early yesterday scoring six runs in the first inning of a 8-4 victory over the A's. Nate Robertson pitched well enough to end his personal three-game losing streak. The win finished off a 10-game homestand for the Tigers in which they went 7-3. They now travel to Cleveland for a three-game series.

Two interesting side notes: First, the Tigers are now on pace for 112 wins this season. Also, Dmitri Young has a .336 career batting average at Jacob's Field, the second highest amongst all active players.

Tonight's game will see Jeremy Bonderman 10-4, 3.53) face the Indians' Cliff Lee (9-7, 4.86).

The game can be seen on FSN Detroit and heard on AM 1270.

First pitch: 7:05 p.m.
