The Tigers (57-28) continue their pre-All Star break West coast roadtrip tonight in Seattle. They will take on the Mariners (42-43), a team in which they swept earlier in the season.
Jeremy Bonderman (7-4, 3.65), who happens to be a native of the state of Washington, will take the hill for the Tigers this evening. He will be facing off against Joel Pineiro (6-7, 5.86), who has a career 5-0 record against the Tigers. Pineiro is coming off of 3 straight no decisions, but overall has not been too great this season.
