The Tigers' 3-2 victory over the Rangers last night couldn't have come at a better time. It snapped a three-game losing streak and may give them some momentum as they head into the last three weeks of the season.
Tonight's game wraps up a two-game series with the Rangers. With the Twins' loss this afternoon, the Tigers really need to take advantage of this opportunity to increase their lead in the AL Central.
Justin Verlander (16-7, 3.19) gets the start for Detroit tonight. He'll face the Rangers' Kevin Millwood (14-9, 4.49).
