9/18 Detroit Tigers @ Chicago White Sox

The Tigers rallied twice yesterday but came up short in the end, ultimately losing to the Orioles 12-10 in 10 innings. With their loss and the Twins' win, the Tigers' AL Central lead is down to one game.

The Tigers embark upon a seven-game roadtrip which begins tonight in Chicago. This three-game stop in the Windy City couldn't be more important for the Tigers. The outcome of this series could change the playoff outlook for both teams.

The Tigers will trust veteran lefty Kenny Rogers (15-6, 3.86) to deliver a quality start tonight. Rogers will face the White Sox' Mark Buehrle (12-12, 4.76).

The game can be seen on FSN Detroit and heard on AM 1270.

First pitch: 8:05 p.m.
