Twins tie up AL Central

The Tigers' 8-6 loss to the Blue Jays this afternoon put them in a precarious position. With a 2-1 come-from-behind, extra-innings victory, the Minnesota Twins have erased the Tigers' lead in the AL Central.

Both teams have three games left. The Tigers welcome the Royals for the final series of the year, while the Twins host the White Sox. I can't believe I'm forced to root for the White Sox, but it would be fantastic if they could win a game or two or three.

It's going to be an exciting and intense three days.
