Chad Durbin (0-1, 11.57) vs. A.J. Burnett (1-1, 7.27)

So if you're Chad Durbin, how do you feel about following up Jeremy Bonderman's nine innings of near pitching gold last night?

I don't know how many people reading this are fans of the Academy Awards, but as I'm writing this, I keep thinking of Ellen DeGeneres' "Boy, I'd hate to follow that" joke following a musical performance. She'd then immediately introduce the next presenters.

Ah... maybe you had to see it. But Durbin might have the last laugh on this, as he's actually has a 2-0 record with a 1.77 ERA in four career appearances against Toronto.

Burnett could help the Detroit bats feel good about themselves again, as they knocked him around pretty good last week at Comerica Park. The Tiger to keep your eye on today is Sean Casey. If you ever want to ask Burnett "Who's Your Tiger?" Casey would probably be his answer. A .600 average (12-for-20) with three RBIs might have any pitcher pleading submission. Owned, baby.
