The Tigers have received an unexpected - though surely needed, with their travel schedule this week - day off, as tonight's game has been postponed due to rain. (Or as the official press release calls it, "inclement weather.") I was wondering what was going on when trying to find links for the scheduled starting pitchers. No make-up date has been set.
There's also no word yet on whether Nate Robertson will have his turn in the rotation moved back one day. As of right now, MLB.com has Justin Verlander scheduled to start tomorrow night's series opener against Minnesota at Comerica Park. (Surprise of the Year candidate Ramon Ortiz is set to go for the Twins.)
