According to MLive.com's Danny Knobler, Jim Leyland has decided to keep Andrew Miller in the Detroit Tigers starting rotation at least through the weekend. Miller will start on Sunday against the Braves, which will be telecast on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. (Let's hope he does better than the last rookie who started a Sunday night for the Tigers.)
After that, Miller's spot in the rotation could depend on how well Nate Robertson throws during his Double-A rehab start on Thursday. Knobler also mentioned the Tigers are still trying to trade Mike Maroth, and that would obviously affect Miller's status, as well. (Maybe they could trade him as a hitter. That was quite a double he scorched last night to the right-center gap.)
