While the Tigers were trying to wake themselves up during last night's game, did you flip over to ESPN to see how Mike Maroth was doing? Maybe that Mets' lineup isn't as fearsome as some of us once believed, but Maroth was nonetheless impressive, giving up only one run and two hits in 7 1/3 innings.
Oh, and he also racked up a single and a stolen base. I got your five-tool player right here.
The Cardinals went on to lose the game in extra innings, 2-1, but Maroth sure looked like he'll dig that National League thing.
