Danger, Nate Robertson! Danger! Angels 11, Tigers 6

I'm a little bit pressed for time this morning, so we're going to do a quick recap of last night's 11-6 loss with some visual aids.

Here, in a picture, is Nate Robertson's performance.

Eight runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings? Brutal. Nate's arm must be tired again. I know he had to fall on the sword a bit to save the bullpen, and settled down for his last 3 2/3 innings, but those first two were a disaster. None of his pitches were moving; everything was on a tee for the Angels' batters.

But I can't really bang the drum for Chad Durbin to take his spot in the rotation, since he coughed up three runs in his 1 1/3 innings. Here, summed up with one image, is Durbin's outing:

So true what they say about pictures and how many words they're worth. This might become a new thing here at BYB. I suppose we could also probably blame Gary Matthews, Jr. for taking away three to four runs when he robbed Craig Monroe with a first-inning catch at the fence. The Tigers had Jered Weaver on the edge of a cliff, but Sarge, Jr. pulled him back. That was definitely a key moment in the game.

Just a bad night that has to be forgotten. The sooner, the better. Get back on the win train, fellas.
