Win a Coin Flip, Lose a Coin Flip

Major League Baseball held coin flips today to determine which teams would host tie-breaker games, if the season came down to that.

The Detroit Tigers came out with a .500 average on their flips. If the Tigers and Yankees are end the season tied for the Wild Card spot, a one-game playoff would be played at Yankee Stadium. However, if the Tigers and Mariners are deadlocked, Comerica Park would host the playoff game.

Strangely, MLB doesn't seem to have flipped any coins for an AL Central tie-breaker. I guess they think that race is over, too.
