BYOBYB: Off-Day Open Thread/Therapy

Has it really been more than two weeks since the Tigers got a day off in the schedule? Mercy. Everyone needs a break after the bazooka launch Nate Robertson conducted last night in Arlington.

But as we usually like to do on off-days, we open it up to you. If you want to rant and complain about the men wearing the Olde English D, or those in charge of assembling and coaching this collection of players, have at it. Or maybe you need a mental break and want to go off-topic. This is the place for you.

Just to get things started, here are a few topics:

  • What happened to Carlos Guillen's power? (10 home runs in 408 at-bats)
  • Do you think Jeremy Bonderman's teammates envy him getting a head start on fishing and drinking?
  • How did the Texas Rangers let Armando Galarraga go? Randy Galloway tells the story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
  • If you get a chance, check out The Baseball Early Bird, a new, daily newsletter brought to you by the people behind Baseball-Reference.com. The big reason I want to bring it up is because the Thursday edition is written by our good friend Mike McClary.

Stretch out and share what's on your mind. This is the BYB support group. We're listening. As always, just be nice to each other.
