According to the AP, there's going to be a little bit more going on at Comerica Park this morning than the Tigers and Twins getting ready for the first game of their doubleheader.
Federal and local law-enforcement personnel will descend from helicopters into Comerica Park Tuesday morning as part of an exercise to prepare for a possible championship series.
Officials say Detroit SWAT and U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel will participate in the "fast-roping" exercise, in which agents descend into the ballpark on a thick rope from a helicopter.

Hopefully, Brandon Lyon and Justin Verlander won't be playing with their remote-controlled airplanes and monster trucks during the exercise.
Also, is there any way we can get that S.W.A.T. team to do one of those "sky-hook" airlift operations on Joe Mauer, like Batman did with the Hong Kong mobster in The Dark Knight?
Just a thought.
UPDATE: Apparently, this exercise has been rescheduled for tomorrow, because of today's doubleheader. Maybe that'll give the S.W.A.T. team to consider whether they'd prefer to "sky-hook" Michael Cuddyer out of there instead.
