A bit more news of note about Magglio Ordonez -- we've become all Magglio, all the time it's starting to feel like.
The first note is, he worked out for teams today at the Winter Meetings, including the Detroit Tigers.
His agent Scott Boras spoke to the media during a press conference today, telling them, according to MLive's Steve Kornacki: "I fully expect that he'll end up with a team that's a contender and play right or left field."
Magglio is a guy that has gotten a lot of interest from a lot of teams, now that Jayson has signed," Boras told reporters today. "He’s a middle-of-the-order guy. Great batting average. Productive guy. A veteran player. A winner.
Boras claims Ordonez's ankle -- which was surgically repaired a month after he hurt it in the final weekend of July -- is 100 percent, and that the market is heating up.

FoxSports.com's Jon Paul Morosi spoke to a source about that topic. The source said Ordonez is asking for two years and $20 million guaranteed.
