Jake Westbrook 0-1 11.25 2.25 1 4

Neither team's ace looked exactly dominating in the season opener, although Justin Verlander certainly appeared to be on that track for the first few innings. Westbrook issued four walks, hit two White Sox and threw a wild pitch. So, no where to go but up from there, I guess. Both look to bounce back.

Fun notes from the press info:

  • The Tigers lead in double plays turned with eight.
  • The bullpen has a 1.89 ERA and has not allowed an inherited runner to score.
  • Johnny Damon is 2 RBI shy of 1,000.

Remember, the game is on FSD-Plus today, because the Red Wings are trying to keep the Blackhawks from winning the Western Conference on FSD. Oh, and I guess they're trying to lock up the fifth seed and a trip to Phoenix.
