Before we get too far today, let's get our stretching in, shall we? Good.

Make you you've got your remote control thumb properly ready. To the left! To the right! Circles! OK, take a breath. Let's walk it in, team.

The Wings and Tigers both play about 10 tonight. (And the Sharks, which I'm sure interests about one of us). So we'll all be busy flipping stations back and forth to try keep up to date on the baseball game (FS Detroit Plus) while watching hockey (FS D). Or up to date on the hockey game while watching baseball, I suppose.

That means you baseball game watchers will be more important than ever in keeping everyone up to date on how things are unraveling going.

Felix Hernandez is on the mound for the Mariners. Seattle can't score runs. Jeremy Bonderman may be back. This all indicates a quick game.

Baseball seldom works like that, so I suspect this one will end closer to 2 a.m.

Alas, that's how the puck ball bounces.
