So I'm not incredibly busy tonight- here's the recap! And expect a monthly recap on Sunday some time.
Ryan Ketchner went 5 innings, surrendering 3 runs (2 earned) on 4 hits including a homer. He struck 4 out. Josh Rainwater went 2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits including a homer. Casper Wells went 1-4 with a homer and Will Rhymes went 2-4.
Thad Weber went 5, giving up 10 hits and a walk (but only 3 runs) with 5 strikeouts. Andy Dirks was 3-5 with a homer, Wilkin Ramirez was 2-4 with a double, a homer and a walk, and Cale Iorg was 1-3 with a walk(!!!).
Adam Wilk gave up all 3 runs in this one, but only two were earned. He pitched 6 innings with 6 hits and 1 strikeout. Anthony Shawler had 3 hitless innings, striking out 2. Kody Kaiser was 2-5 with a homer, Rawley Bishop was 2-5 with a double and Bryan Pounds was 2-4 with a double.
Blame Ramon Lebron for this one. He had a no-hitter over 2.2 innings... but walked 5 and only struck out 2. He also allowed 2 runs (inherited- they both scored). The offense was equally pathetic- Jordan Lennarton was 2-3 with a walk, so he gets a cookie.
