If you are feeling the same as me, you are chomping at the bit, impatiently waiting for opening day.
We've been talking endlessly, going round and round, about the 2010 Detroit Tigers since game 163 came to it's memorably painful end. (I'm still POed over the whole freaking thing, from Zach Miner's so-called relief to Brandon Inge getting hit by a pitch, and everybody on the planet seeing it...save for the home plate umpire. But I digress... )
We have all of 2 days before the MLB season begins in anger. Only 2 days left to suffer though a final weekend of baseball that doesn't mean a thing in the standings.
But meaningless baseball is better than no baseball at all, right? And there's only 1 meaningless game left to play.
This is the last exhibition game of the spring, gang. Games that count in the standings for the Tigers start Monday afternoon in Kansas City, in approximately 50 hours.
This is also your last chance to prepare for the regular season game threads! As my coaches always said, you play like you practice. So I want to see your best!
