Only a couple days before life goes back to normal...
Phil Dumatriat went 5.1, surrendering 2 earned runs on 8 hits, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Scott Drucker went 2.2 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking one out. Jay Sborz got the win off a mediocre outing- 1 hit, 2 walks, 1 strikeout over 1 inning. Jeff Frazier and Deik Scram were both 2-3 with a double and a walk. Jeff Larish was 0-2 with 2 walks- and an RBI for walking in a dude in the 9th.
Andy Oliver made me look like a fool yesterday: 5 innings, 1 run on 5 hits and 4 walks- but 10 strikeouts. That's dominance. Luis Marte picked up the save, giving up 1 hit and striking out 1 in an inning. Wilkin Ramirez went 2-2 with 2 walks (!!!) and Shawn Roof went 2-4.
This one's all Charlie Furbush, who had a great game. 6 innings, one run allowed on a solo homer, 5 hits and 8 strikeouts. Matt Hoffman (1IP, 3H, 1ER, 1K) got the save. Gustavo Nunez was 3-4 with a double and a strikeout, Rawley Bishop was 2-4 with a homer and Daniel Fields was 1-3 with a walk and two strikeouts.
Another good pitching performance, thanks to (Mr.) Trevor Feeney, who went 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits, a walk and 7 strikeouts. Jordan Lennarton was 3-4 with a homer, Jamie Johnson was 2-5 and Michael Rockett was 2-4 with a homer.
