Dontrelle Willis will look to build on his best start in nearly a calendar year. Last time out, also against the Twins, he went six scoreless innings and allowed just four hits and two walks.

Nick Blackburn has struggled a bit this season and enters the game with a 6.85 ERA. He allowed 10 runs during his last two appearances, both against the Royals. He hasn't met the Tigers yet this year.
