Just a couple Tigers, Miggy and Johnny, have at bats against Maholm, who has emerged this year as the Pirates's ace. They each have a little success, so hopefully Miguel can figure out a way to break out of his slump tonight.
Bondo doesn't have the near-perfect interleague record that Verlander does; he is 7-7 with a mid 5 ERA. The fact that he's making this start at home helps, as he has a 2.33 ERA in his last five home starts.
